19 Spooky And Creative Halloween Crafts For Kids To Enjoy.

If you are looking for some fun and creative activities to keep your kids busy during the Halloween season, then this is just the post for you! Crafting is a good way to enhance a child’s creativity and imagination, but also a good time to spend quality bonding time with your little ones. As the air gets colder outside, the kids can get fidgety inside and they definitely need something to keep their little hands occupied. These crafts will fill your home with the Halloween spirit, and give your kids a sense of accomplishment at their finish crafts.

Make this flapping bat craft for an exciting interactive activity for kids. This simple bat is made from black craft paper and just glue googly eyes on for that extra bit of charm and personality. What makes the bat unique and interactive is the flapping mechanism which can be created by attaching a straw or stick to the bat to move the flaps up and down.

One extra way to make the bats unique and personalised to each child, is getting some metallic or glitter pens to decorate the flaps of the wings. 5. Halloween snowflakes

Let the kids choose their favourite colors for the pom pom and add felt embellishments for the teeth and feet. Help will be needed as this project requires a glue gun but other than that, they are easy to make.

10. Monster suncatchers

Carrying on from the monster theme are these colorful monster sun-catchers. These are easy to make and the kids will have fun putting in all the little bits of broken colored paper onto the clear paper to make the sun-catcher come to life.

With just some black card stock, clear paper and glue, you will have these little monsters ready in no time. Put them onto the window to ‘catch the light’.

11. Silhouette art

Get artsy with this silhouette art attack craft. This is a classic art technique which can be used in any occasion. Let the kids draw out some of their favourite halloween elements, or print the bat template from the website and stick it down with some tape.

12. Paint Splat cauldron

Another artsy quick and fun halloween craft which needs minimal supplies. The process for this very fun, get some paint splatted on some paper, fold and open and there you have the very abstract and colorful base for the cauldron. Add some bits of glitter on top to give it that sparkle and jazz.

13. Glue and salt spiderweb

Create this easy and colorful spiderweb with your little ones, simply with some glue and salt! Make a pattern to form the spiderweb with some glue, or any other fun halloween shapes, sprinkle some salt on top and then the salt will absorb the paints to give it an abstract and colorful look, like magic! 14. Halloween salt pumpkin

This pumpkin art is similar to the previous art, the same technique is used with salt and glue but this time make a fun and yet scary looking pumpkin! It just goes to show that lots of different looks and characters can be created with the salt and glue technique.

15. flying ghosts

Create these fun ghosts to make ‘flying ghosts’ and have the kids amazed. Make these flying ghosts just by drawing some eyes onto tissue paper, and blowing with a straw! Maybe something the younger ones will be fascinated by and will love seeing the ghosts ‘fly’.

16. cauldron experiment

This may not be a paper craft idea, but it will definitely have the little ones amazed! Try this baking soda science experiment with them and see the wonder in their eyes. Only a few ingredients are needed and some food coloring and you will have a whole science experiment right in your home.

17. Halloween bubble foam

Halloween bubble foam is a good sensory activity for the little toddlers. This only requires bubble bath, and some food coloring to make it green! A fun activity for the younger ones who might be feeling left out in the Halloween fun. Add their favourite spooky toys and let them have some fun.

18. Haunted hands

Another ‘science’ experiment with these frozen gloves filled with treasures. Get some clear plastic gloves and fill it with coloring and water along with some halloween treasures and just like that you will have a frozen Halloween hand.
