Libbey can wrap bundle designs, free for download!
I recently came across these ultra-cute libbey can designs all over the internet, and thought I HAVE to create some! I love creating designs and patterns, but this idea was so new to me, a lovely pattern on a class can?! Sounds lush!!

Since it’s summer, these designs would make for lovely use. I mean, who wouldn’t want to drink out of a glass can with a cute design on a hot summer’s day right??
First off, let me tell you a little about my design process.
Every designer’s process is different but I like to start off planning my designs on procreate, these gives me an idea of what I would like elements and drawings I would like to use. Then I take it into photoshop to actually MAKE the pattern. I’m a textile designer by profession, so I have to make sure my designs all in a seamless patter, otherwise it looks off to me! But that’s a whole other topic.
THEN finally I take it into illustrator where I create the actual SVG files and their different formats.
Most likely if you are reading this post, then you probably know what an SVG is, but if you don’t know and are curious, then an SVG is simply a ‘scalable vector graphic’ which can be upscaled into much bigger sizes without losing their sharpness or quality. They are not like pixel-based images, where if you enlarge them, they will become all pixelated. This is where most crafters use SVGS for their projects to keep that quality of the design, no matter how much they have enlarged the design.
Designs for libbey cans seem to be a new trend nowadays, as well as tumbler designs and Starbucks cup designs (which I will be also creating free designs for, so watch out for this space!). I think they are a cool way for self-expression through beverages, no matter how cold or hot it is outside, plus they make super cute gift ideas.
The design below is a super cute, simple yet colourful design.
Next up, I was going for a retro flower vibe which turned out to be quite autumnal.
This geometric style design is giving me psychedelic feels.
Last is a different type of tiled design.
These designs I have created are mainly designs to be used individually. They are FREE for personal and commercial use.
The download files are contained in a ZIP file. The ZIP file can easily be opened after downloading by simply double-clicking on it.

1 DXF file to use in Silhouette design’s free basic plan.
