I find this journal spread so inspiring because it has so much going on yet it is so visually appealing. All the different elements, the written and the drawings bring it all together. A great way to document a memory in a visual form.

This spread is so cohesive, simple and yet complex at the same time. It has a lot of details yet it is presented so well. This spread isn’t a daily journal spread but actually a weekly journal spread, which also includes a task tracker and a reading tracker.
Not all journal entries have to be a daily spread, this can sometimes make it easier to fill a blank spread over a week, rather than a day.

One of my personal favourite types of bullet journal spreads are ones with a lot of writing, as seen above. This is one way of just dumping your thoughts out onto paper and it can also be very satisfying to see.

This is a cute journal entry, it doesn’t have too much going on yet not simple either. Using different stickers is also a great way to decorate your spread and writing ontop of them as this artist has done.

This is more of a planner style journal and I love it! It’s such a different way to do a journal entry as it’s a more precise and organised style of keeping up with things, yet at the same time the artist has made it look pretty by adding different drawing elements on the page.

This is such a fun and colourful spread which visualises the joy of the artist. Colours can have a huge impact on the outcome of the journal spread. It also has different collage and sticker elements which make it all the more unique.

This weekly spread is great for those who find lots of writing daunting. The artist has simply wrote small quotes about her day in the daily sections, such a clever way to document a week without going into details.

Another captivating spread because of the visual aspect, bold colours and drawings used. This artist has used a weekly spread as a ‘to-do’ list which can be a fun way to tick off your to-do list.

I love the whole vibe of this spread, it is minimalistic yet so pretty. This artist has used the collage affect of ripped paper to transform her spread and it has really worked. The colour palette is very serene, giving a calming affect yet has a bold edge to it too.

Weekly spreads seem to be becoming popular! This is another which has subtle details such as the washi tape used for decoration and I love the painting at the top of the page.

This artist has documented her travels in her journal in a fun and visual way, she has adding different doodle elements of her trip; a great way to show rather than tell. She has also used receipts for keepsake, making it a lovely collage element on the page.

This is such a classic look, and gives off modern yet ‘secret garden’ vibes all on one page, which can sometimes be hard to do. The colour scheme is very complementary to the layout of the page.

Another eye-candy spread, such a funky yet simple layout. Different stickers are used to document the day which makes it look so cute, at the same time not much writing is written which goes to show a bullet journal really is a visual diary.

A very sophisticated and sleek weekly layout! Stickers have been placed very carefully along with wash-tape to put the spread together, and it works so well. The subdued colours and handwriting work so well together.

Another travel inspired spread. What caught my eye with this spread was the clean look it had but still a ton of information and doodles. Small pictures and drawings are a great way to capture memories.

Another aesthetic spread by sleepyneko.bujo. Autumn is upon us and this gives me such cosy vibes. She has used one page per spread but made both pages cohesive with one another. She has also documented what she is currently reading, a great way to keep track of literature instead of a whole reading log.

What I loved about this spread was the hand painted elements along side the ripped collage pieces. They work so well together and it gives it more of an art journal look as well as a journal spread.

This spread has such personality and the colours and stickers are what make it. This is used as a weekly spread, with a short paragraph about each day. Sometimes doing less in journal each day can be more impactful then having to force a full spread to look beautiful.
